About The Series
The Series Release and Publication:
Shortly after Part 1 of the series: The Pillars of Natura is released (November 15, 2011), it will become available for purchase in a traditional book format at all major book stores and online retailers, as well as TheRealmwalker.com. The book version will not only include The Pillars of Natura in its entirety, but also have an appendix with all of the maps, artwork, timeline, and glossary for the series as well.
The Realmwalker Chronicles was always meant to have four parts, and that is still my intent. With the release of Book 1, Book 2 should be released in the Spring of 2012; Book 3 will release in the Summer of 2012, and Book 4 will be released in late Winter 2012/2013.
Series Synopsis:
For over 3000 years, the Goddess Erta empowered one mortal to be the champion and protector of The Balance on Her world: The Realmwalker. Wielding all 17 Lani powers as well as the legendary Sword of Angios, each Realmwalker was the ultimate warrior and guardian of Erta’s will. For centuries, the succession of these heroes remained unbroken and peace reigned.
But 100 years ago when the last Realmwalker died, there was no champion to take up the Sword. For the first time since the horrific Realm Wars, those seeking control over the Four Realms were finally able to push for advantage, throwing the Realms into chaos and conflict. Meanwhile, the mysterious and powerful Seraph continued in their frantic search for Erta’s missing guardian.
Living in an isolated community of outcasts, Rennick and his twin sister Raine struggle with the decisions regarding the direction of their lives. After discovering the heartbreaking truth of their past which also holds the key to Erta’s future, Raine is told by the Seraph Kanis that she is destined to become the next Realmwalker. He then convinces the twins to journey with him to the Temple of Erta, located on the slopes of the mountains called The Pillars of Natura. There, within the ancient stronghold, the Sword of Angios awaits the return of Erta’s protector.
While Raine begins training to carry the burdens of a world on the brink of war, Rennick is also struggling with his own burden: protecting the life of the sister he loves. Fearing that even Raine’s most loyal allies are desperate to control her, Rennick begins to learn and master his own powerful abilities to ensure her safety.
In this new epic fantasy series, Lee Aarons tells the story of Raine and Rennick Sherrill, twins bound to the fate of the world, and to each other. Only by discovering the truth of the past can they begin to truly harness the power of The Realmwalker and save Erta from those seeking to destroy it.
The Pillars of Natura – November 1, 2011.
The Pillars of Natura starts by telling the story of Raine and Rennick, twin siblings who discover that they have an ancient power that had been hidden from them since birth. Raine, being just seconds older than Rennick, is told by the Seraph, Kanis, that she is destined to be The Realmwalker…Realm Lord of Erta and Protector of the Balance. After discovering that someone close to them is one of the dreaded Sowers of Chaos, they flee from their home village with Kanis to reach the Temple of Erta in Tirgrala, where the Sword of Angios awaits The Realmwalker. Here, Kanis tells Raine, she can train her new found abilities and fulfill her destiny.
As Raine and Rennick learn more about themselves, their abilities and their enemies, the four Realms stand poised at the brink of war, threatening to to destroy Erta and all life upon it if they cannot master the power of the Realmwalker and the Sword of Angios.
