There are 17 different types of naturally occurring stones in Erta that have been infused with her power, called the Lani.  According to legend, Erta gifted four of her powers to each of her children,  the Realms, according to their strengths by placing her power within the predominant stones that existed within that Realm.  The last remaining Lani power, Spirit, Erta infused within the stone called diamond, which is found in even amounts throughout all four Realms.  She still maintains control and influence upon this power, and is the primary strength of her Archon, The Realmwalker.  This enabled her to create The Balance, and make it so that no one Realm could possess more of her power than any other one.

Occasionally, children are born within each Realm who are also infused with the power from that Realm, these rare individuals are called De’Lani and are greatly treasured by the Realms as they are considered to be the ones to lead the Realm and help maintain The Balance for that Realm.  The De’Lani The stones within the Realms which
