Realms of Erta
Erta is divided into four distinctly different realms:
Archons and Regents
Each of the realms has their own internal political structure which is similar to the other realms. How the titles are earned and the process done to celebrate the event is unique to each Realm.
Each has their own leader, also known as an Archon. The Archons are considered to be the most powerful beings on their particular Realm, and are bonded to their Realm’s Relic. There are also 4 other leaders of the Realms, called Regents, who each watch over and lead one of their Realm’s four De’Lani powers. The Regents are also bonded to one of the four minor Relics of their Realm.
One Archon, called The Realmwalker, is “Of all the Realms and of None”. They are considered to be the Archon of Erta, whose main function is to protect Erta, The Balance and ensure equality among the Realms.
