This is the name given to the oldest son and second oldest child of Erta which is the Realm of the Balance with death and disease.  This Realm seeks The Balance through being the counterpoint to life and the natural processes of struggle and strife.  The “first life” beings of this Realm, while alive, long to die, to become one of the Eternal Ones and gain strength through the transformational power of death.  The Necrites believe that the more natural their loss, suffering and agony prior to death, the more they are respected and revered when they are reborn.

The Realm is unique in that while the other Children of Erta grant De’Lani power in life, only the Necromancers gain their abilities during the “first life”.  All others gain their De’Lani powers after becoming one of the Eternal Ones.  Because of this, all beings in the Realm are reanimated after death, as none can tell who will have the abilities or not.

They have an affinity for Mecho, and are diametrically opposed to Natura.
