Bio:
Lee Aarons is the pen name for James Drake. James was born June 6, 1970 in Oceanside, CA. He moved with his family when he was nine to Brookings, South Dakota where he graduated from high school in 1988. After several years working within the video game industry, James moved on to the computer hardware industry in the late 90′s and opened a small retail operation in his hometown.
After the closing of his retail business, James moved back to Minneapolis, MN and began working as a web design and promotion consultant for several small companies in the Twin Cities area. The writing bug hit him while watching his grandfather, Lee Drake, begin writing and eventually publishing four novels and a memoir. It was with this inspiration that he began to conceive and develop the ideas that were to eventually become The Realmwalker Chronicles.
James still lives in Minneapolis, MN and is a loving father of 4 children. His favorite hobbies aside from writing include stand up comedy, computers, mountain biking and fishing.
